Many organisations are already actively committed to protecting the climate and the environment. These non-governmental organisations (NGOs) operate independently of governments and corporations. They are not profit-driven but instead invest all their resources in charitable, social and environmental causes. WWF Deutschland

Der World Wide Fund For Nature (WWF) ist eine der größten Naturschutzorganisationen der Erde und in fast 100 Ländern aktiv. Als Teil dieses starken Netzwerks setzt sich der WWF Deutschland seit Jahrzehnten dafür ein, die Zerstörung natürlicher Lebensgrundlagen zu stoppen, biologische Vielfalt zu bewahren und eine Zukunft zu gestalten, in der Mensch und Natur im Einklang leben. Veränderungen sind dafür nötig. Veränderungen jener Entwicklungen, die verantwortlich sind für die Zwillingskrise aus Biodiversitätsverlust und Erderhitzung, die uns vor nie zuvor gekannten Herausforderungen stellt. The World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) is one of the largest nature conservation organisations on earth and is active in nearly 100 countries. As part of this strong network, WWF Germany has been working for decades to halt the destruction of natural resources, preserve biological diversity and shape a future in which humans and nature live in harmony. Change is necessary to achieve this, including changes to the developments that are responsible for the twin crises of biodiversity loss and global warming, both of which present us with unprecedented challenges. Based on this conviction, WWF sees itself not only as a conservationist but also as a shaper of economic and social transformation. Deutsche Umwelthilfe e.V.

ist ein gemeinnütziger und politisch unabhängiger Verein, der sich seit 50 Jahren für Natur-, Umwelt- und Verbraucherrechte einsetzt. Als starke Stimme für Umwelt, Menschen und Klima mobilisiert die DUH die Öffentlichkeit und spricht auch unangenehme Wahrheiten aus. MoorFuture

MoorFuture is dedicated to restoring and rewetting peatlands, helping to protect the climate and support biodiversity, as healthy peatlands are highly effective carbon sinks. Fridays for Future
